The flower of Jamaica (Hibiscus sabdariffa), with an intense red color, has been used in Mexico since pre-Hispanic times to make tea and exotic dishes due to its agreeable scent and curative properties.
Jamaica Kiee Lu’u is produced by small communities in the state of Oaxaca, where the cool weather and humidity give the flower an exquisite color, aroma and taste. Kiee Lu’u means ‘Living Flower’ in the Chatino dialect
